MICHAEL MAHONY

Michael Mahony is the Chief Operating Officer of Rosemont Realty, LLC.  Mr. Mahony previously was a Director of Rosemont Capital, L.P. In that capacity, Mr. Mahony led asset diligence efforts and ongoing management and operations of real estate investments. After receiving a Master’s Degree in International Finance from the London School of Economics, Mr. Mahony joined the real estate private equity group at Lazard Frères in New York focusing on the ongoing management, restructuring, and disposition of the funds’ portfolio assets. At Lazard, Mr. Mahony participated in the realization of over $2 billion of fund assets, including both public and private REITs and real estate operating and management companies. Thereafter, Mr. Mahony became Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance for André Balazs Properties (ABP), a New York-based boutique hotel and residential management and development company. At ABP, Mr. Mahony directed strategic business development efforts, negotiated the participation of the company in over $1 billion of new projects and the successful $300 million repositioning of the company, including the replacement of the company’s major equity partner, the sale-leaseback of core company assets, the sale of non-core assets, the buyout of the management company, the repayment of debt, and the renegotiation of equity partnership agreements. In addition, as a senior member of the management team, Mr. Mahony participated in all aspects of ongoing property management, including annual budgeting; leasing, sales and marketing; and corporate organization. Mr. Mahony received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and in History from Yale University and is also a Director and Officer of the Mahony Corporation, an Arkansas-based oil, gas, and timber investment company.
